Emily served on the SMPS SFBAC Membership Committee for the 2020-21 board year and I am delighted to acknowledge her participation and involvement. She quickly jumped into taking an active role in our committee by leading our virtual retention quarterly hppy hours. She has made her own graphics to help advertise and brought fun activities to engage happy hour attendees. In addition to this responsibility, she took on the Event Lead role for our 2021 Annual Business Meeting where she has collaborated with the Board to create an education and interactive event. Emily is a delight to work with and I value her ability to step up and get things done! I look forward to working with her again this coming year.

Emily is one of the most hardworking, considerate, and resourceful management-level individuals I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Emily is a well-rounded marketing professional with particularly strong skills in project management, writing, and graphic design. She always adapts to new challenges and integrates seamlessly into any team she is part of. She continuously strives to perfect her work, learn differentiating skills, and strengthen her industry relationships. Everyone who works with Emily leaves the project feeling respected, supported, and confident in the team's work product. Emily has the unique ability to manage "up" when working with executives and other senior leaders on fast-paced projects, and always maintains a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure business situations. She is also a fantastic mentor to younger professionals, and is a genuine advocate for women in the workplace and beyond.

Despite countless hours dedicated to managing dauntingly complex, technical proposals and SOQs, Emily is one of the most diligent, detail-oriented, determined workers I’ve ever met and is always the first person to offer her teammates support on their projects while she juggles her own work with volunteering for DBIA Young Professionals, SF Bay Area Society for Marketing Professional Services, Oakland Promise, and Webcor’s Community Engagement Committee.

I loved working with Emily on pursuits, helping and watching her become such a talented and insightful proposal manager. I respect her commitment to being such a help to others on the team, within the company, and the community at large.
